AccuWeather Platinum - Weather for Life App Reviews

Gets my location wrong 100% of the time even when entered manually by city name or ZIP code. Weather forecasts past 7 days ALWAYS 100% WRONG; weather forecasts past 15 days cant be backed up scientifically, considered BS by all professional weather forecasters and National Weather Service. I question accuracy of the forecasts presented by this company as their overall accuracy is so poor.

This weather app is much more accurate than any other I have tried in tellingly you what it is like at your location. I like that be you it shows hourly weather for several days and can show you s forecast many days out. Cover graphics are also nice, including showing you the phase of the moon at night. Great app!

Nice weather app overall. The Apple Watch implementation is very good. The icon for the weather conditions in the complication could be a little bigger though.

Very fast, works great, easy to understand graphics. Looked forever and they all had issues, except this one.

A year after the watch came out, you finally get around to complications. Accuweather now needs to continue to improve them and provide more timely updates. Every 6+ weeks is too long for so little changes. This new update, my location never auto updates . Guess Ill have to wait another 60 days for update

Love this app great for heads up information

The app is very nice but having the circle with the temperature in it near the bottom of the screen is annoying and strenuous on peoples eyes, it would be great if there was a setting to move it up or have it move with the cards so you dont have to stare at the bottom of your screen!

(iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.1) The widget is much faster, as well as the app overall. Very nice! Love the added future radar and the faster watch app. The app also seems to be only running in the background when I explicitly allow that functionality. Closest Ive seen to the perfect weather app. Im so glad Accuweather listened to the feedback. So much better to swipe right for the map. The added 3-D Touch shortcuts are also a bonus, and I really like using Peek on the Looking Ahead section. I Can now remove and reorganize the sections (including the videos!). +++ As always I am still very happy to see that Accuweather hasnt resorted to yearly fees to use "premium" features, or making only a freemium app. Previous: The animations look great, scrolling is smooth, and the information has been quite accurate for me in Minnesota. I really like the little section that gives upcoming weather information so I can quickly look ahead into the week and know whats coming. Ive also found the MinuteCast to be more accurate for me than Dark Sky (typically). This app excels in so many areas, though one thing I would like to see added is an air quality or allergy section (perhaps it could share the same rectangle as the sun as moon and we could toggle between them like in the hourly section).

The best, but the "make it rain right here right now" feature on mine was buggy - it rained frogs instead.

These last two updates have really improved this app so much! Thank you for fixing the sounds with alerts! I got an alert that had sound for a storm moving through and I was so happy.

I will give 4 stars as their design has improved. It used to be inconvenient to see the weather info quickly.

I like this app for the most part but as far as accuracy goes, if I have a saved location it will tell me one temperature but then if I am currently in that same location it will tell me a different temperature, thus having the same location twice with two different temperatures.

I have to say that I really love this weather app but theres a glitch on app in my iPhone where I dont get any notifications or weather alerts but now on my iPad mini it works wonderfully... Is it just me or does somebody else has this issue??? Thanks

A good weather app has to argue that you dont need the pre installed one by being faster and easier to use. This one does just that and provides more information at a glance

Can find most locations, and very accurate.

Accuweather is my go to weather source and this app makes it so easy to keep up. I wish they would incorporate the Migraine and Astronomy features that I love from their main site.

I have purchased and tried every major weather app and this is the best one by far. Was using multiple weather apps but after getting comfortable with the Accuweather App features, I deleted all the others.

Great app no problems always works great

I love my accuweather app, its accurate and stable. I use it on iPhone 5 & 5s - yes, I know it time to upgrade! I use the accumap before I even check the radar. I love the fact that people can add the exact place and moment it happened. I wish the developers could broaden the horIzon on the options to dictate that particular situation. (I.E., limited visibility-this can mis interpreted in a lot of ways, how about a measurement, say < 100, 500, 1,000. Or the damaging winds icon, this one too can be severely misinterpreted as OMG-my house is going to be blown over when its just strong winds that snapped a couple weak or dead branches from a tree. Just because your lawn chair was blown across the yard does not equate to damaging winds. It could be better depicted from an "approximate mph"....10,20,30,40,.....hold on to your butts! The way I look at it is I used to only get my coffee black, now there are endless ways to get your coffee. I think its time to raise the bar on an already excellent 5 star app. I appreciate all that you have done already and thank you in advance for reading my suggestions.
