AccuWeather Platinum - Weather for Life App Reviews

Tried them all and I always seem to come back to this one. My only wish is that the color scheme was easier to see outside and you could zoom in closer on the map screen.

I like being able to plan for trips by checking weather conditions for my destinations ahead of time. I have found AccuWeather to be very accurate in forecasting weather locally.

This is my "go to" weather app!! Plan my activities around it - better than any weather person ever!!!

This is by far the best weather app out there. The layout is great and it is petty spot on.

Ive been searching, downloading, and deleting weather apps for a couple of years and I keep coming back to Accuweather. Its the only of them Ive never deleted because I find it to be the most accurate weather app and it also gets the fastest update. If accuweather and the other couple I have show NO rain right now, if its actually raining slightly, the Accuweather would be the first of them to change the actual status to "light rain". Others change it much later, or may not even bother to change it at all. The latest update leaves me cold, I actually liked the previous one better, but as long as this is the most accurate one out there, I wont be complaining too much about the new UI. Im sure Ill get used to it. The only thing annoys me is that after the last update, its got a "videos" section in the middle of the weather data, which is always in my way when I scroll down to check the forecast. I understand this has been the clients requests (thats what they told me) but it would help if they made it so you can personalize the app by being able to move the app sections around. If enabled, I would move the videos section all the way at the bottom....I really never open the Accuweather to watch videos, but to check the weather. Its the most reliable of all anyway! UPDATE I was reading the most recent reviews of this app and someone made it clear that you actually CAN move the sections around. Thats all I wished for, for me to consider this weather app the best in the App Store. Just hold your finger on the word "VIDEOS" and when you see it all shaded up, you can slide it down or wherever you want it to be. And this is valid for any of the sections in this app. Im hoping people who are complaining about this videos section (I was one of them), will read my email and reconsider their reviews.

Best and most accurate weather app Ive ever had

Finally a app for weather that is spot on.

Great app! Accurately predicts the weather, and has some really nice features. Not a battery drained like TWC app. Only thing missing: an allergy report. With spring here, and summer in the way, it would be nice to see that feature built in. Thats the only thing keeping this from being a five star app.

When opening app, never kids current location, only favorites

Moved to a remote town and use this app everyday when internet is up, rely on it for weather have nothing local, has been very helpful thus far.

Has everything I need in a weather app

Ive tried pretty much every weather app or there, and they all have strengths and weaknesses. This one lacks in the animated radar dept. Very slow and glitchy. Improve that and this would be a 5 star app.

Well just look at number threes answer and I will back them up 100% any day anytime anyplace okey-dokey artichokey? Ive only been having this app ever since it came out SO, With that being said what else can I say except get it and if you dont you may live to regret it!!!! All jokes aside:)

This is a really good app. Much better than the new version of TWC MAX, which is awful. I love how you can change how many hours/days the forecast shows. The radar is very easy to understand and rarely ever glitches. However, I feel that this app is a little hard to navigate through. The mix of buttons and scrolling really confuses me sometimes. I hope accuweather will fix this because otherwise I love this app.

It tells the weather.

I used to think AW was great, then I found out it could be customized. Whoohoo! Now its incredible! Amazing amount of data in a fast, intuitive, easy to access, attractive format. Several days of hourly forecasts and 25 day long-term forecasts are fantastic. The minute forecasts are usually remarkably accurate (break in thunder storms in 10 minutes, eg). I hugely appreciate this app! Only suggestion, currently hourly detail data and forecasts are at bottom of page with daily forecasts up top. Would be more convenient if reversed. Still getting used to i9 format, but still great app.
